I have several Canon SLR camera's and very pleased with them . I also have 2 Canon point and shoot , 'power shots' .Excellant results .

Are you sure leaving the JW religion has made your life better?. Lurkers think twice
by mankkeli inon this forum, i have carefully read most of the experiences of those who left the jw religion, i have even read experiences that have dated back to 2001, i have read the different circumstances surrounding their exits and what ensued upon leaving.
for the majority, i observed they are better remainning in the religion than leaving.
what benefit is there to strain family relationship because you want to be free?, please tell me, of what value is that freedom?,.

I for one am absolutely positive leaving the Jehovah's Witness religion has made MY life BETTER !!! 100 %
The religion I was raised in and practiced for over 40 yrs .did not bring me the degree of happiness ,contentment and peace I now have . I am 50 yrs old and left the JW's only six yrs ago . I have a more open honest relationship now with my mate and children than ever before . As a witness relationships always seemed strained because of presumed 'christian values' over rode true human emotion and feelings . I now am free to accept people for who they are ,not what some publishing company says they should be in order to be my friend .
Are there difficulties to over come ? Of course there are . Is it worth the pain of losing some so called friends and family in order to gain personal freedom and integrity ??? Yes it is .
Life is better because I am now free to LIVE my life , no longer is my life dictated to me by a publishing company .

Secret Santa 2011
by nugget inlast year i coordinated secret santa for jwn and am happy to do so again.
however i would like to get organised sooner rather than later since international postage means that santas need to be allocated by the end of november to ensure that presents can be despatched in good time for christmas.
if you wish to participate please let me know and indicate whether you are happy to post internationally or whether you would prefer someone in the same country.

I get really anxious and I internalize it all . Today at the Dr appointment my blood pressure was 170/80 ,and that was after my BP medicine ! Pure anxiety .

I had all of my children (3) by c-section ,the old fashion kind . So I know the pain I am in store for . I just abhor going under ,it feels like I am going to die .
I have three part-time jobs with no paid leave so that weighs on my mind . My husband is great and will be a help to me .I have a couple of friends that have already volunteered to help out too .
It;s just the whole process of having your insides removed ,the uncertainty as to what they will find ,and the chance it could end up a complete hysterectomy (something I am dead set against ) I hate feeling like I have no control over what will happen once I am out .
This past month I have had alot of pain . During the CT scan I had an allergic reaction to the contrast dye ,they had to rush me back to ER and give me benydril .
I wonder how others have felt after having an ovary removed ? Did you have mood swings ? Or anything I should be aware of ...

So any of you JWN ladies that have been through this want to lend some words of wisdom my way ,I would appreciate it . So far all the cancerous screening tests have come back normal ,but they wouldn't know for sure until it is out . I am asking for minimal organ removal ...I hope that is the right decision .

I have a large complex cyst on my ovary . The Doctor I saw today said I am not a candidate for the laparscopic surgery because of previous scar tissue . So I will have open abdominal surgery ......really scared .
